King Spa is an authentic Korean spa located in Chantilly, VA offering Korean spa services such as body scrubs, oil treatments, massages, facials and more. Explore our three-story facility where you'll find unique mineral saunas, hydrotherapy pools, steamrooms, cold therapy rooms, and much more.

King Spa provides loungewear for our guests. We have sizes M-3XL. Inside the wet spa area is a all nude policy. Swimsuits are prohibited.

Off the central area are the “poultice rooms”: small, sauna-like spaces enhanced with elements that Koreans believe have healthy properties. The salt room is warm but not hot and is said to be beneficial for the skin and bones.

This room is made of 350 million year old natural salt base rocks. Salt is a natural preservative and the heat and humidity from the sauna allows for the skin to be exposed the healing properties of the salt. These salt rocks contain minerals such as Natrium(Sodium), Calcium, Iron, and Zinc.

We recommend that you do not visit any spas while you are pregnant.

For massages and body treatments, ideally you disrobe completely (that means underwear, too). Most spas offer paper panties to wear during body treatments (like scrubs, wraps, or self-tanning)—they don't cover much, but enough to provide a modicum of modesty.

If you choose to wear nothing under your robe, that's completely fine. If you're just going in for a massage, your underwear should suffice. It's truly up to you.

As the warm poultice is massaged over the body, it encourages blood flow and helps to relieve muscle tension. The result is a reduction in physical discomfort, leading to enhanced mobility and an overall feeling of relief.

Loess Clay releases infrared rays which provide relief from headaches, asthma, arthritis, topical dermatitis, and even liver ailment. This material improves one's blood circulation and metabolism, which can lead to weight reduction, as well as flushes out toxins from the pores to promote skin health.

Natural base rock is composed primarily of calcium carbonate skeletons that previous stony coral residents left behind. In fact, coral reefs are pretty much made up entirely of base rock, with a relatively thin layer of living corals over the surface.

The small clay balls envelop the body, stimulating pressure points and warming up muscles to reduce tension. The full immersion into the ball pit maximizes the detoxifying benefits of the yellow ocher clay, especially in combination with the charcoal lumps heated in the room to enhance air purification.

A Korean body scrub (called “seshin”) is a truly unique experience. During a Korean body scrub, you'll be lying naked on a table while warm water is splashed on you, and your body is vigorously scrubbed from head to toe by someone until every last dead skin cell has been washed away and what's left is a shiny new you.

Visitors are expected to cover up using a robe/dressing gown between treatments and when in the spa's public areas and must wear swimwear while enjoying the venue's Jacuzzi and steam room facilities.

Only one Spa uniform will be provided. Members/guests are required to wear the Spa uniform in the unisex area all the time. No other type of clothing is permitted. Members/guests may not loiter in the lobby/front desk area in the Spa uniform.

Wearing loose, non-restrictive clothing can be ideal for this, such as loungewear or gym clothes, t-shirts, yoga bottoms, sweatshirts, and hoodies. Footwear should be comfortable and appropriate too, such as trainers or other sports shoes.

At some dedicated spa retreats, it's fine to wear loose trousers and a t-shirt, but if you're staying at a hotel with a spa, the hotel restaurant(s) will have their own dress code. If it's your first time, check out the pictures in the spa brochure or on their website so you can get some idea, or call up and ask.
