Peanut Clusters in Crock Pot Recipe

If you’ve spent any time on Freebie Finding Mom, you know that one of my most used not-so-secret weapons is the crock pot. This is especially true around the holidays when my already bursting-at-the-seams schedule somehow gets even fuller. (Seriously, I expect my day planner to explode at any moment.) 🙂 In order to spend quality time with loved ones during the holidays without sacrificing my fav foods, I’ve scoured the globe (okay, mostly Pinterest) for easy recipes, like these easy Christmas cookies and delicious crock pot recipes, like this peanut clusters in crock pot recipe. So, if you’d like to have more time to kick back in front of a roaring fire with a steaming mug of hot cocoa (as if, right?) read on for how to make peanut clusters in crock pots.

This peanut clusters in crock pot recipe is beyond simple. Can you stir melted chocolate and peanuts? Great. Then you can tackle this recipe. 🙂 Seriously, all you do is put ingredients in a crock pot, wait around, stir, and then remove from the crock pot. Not too hard right?

In fact, in my opinion, the hardest part of this peanut clusters in crock pot recipe is waiting for them to harden up. I want to start snacking on these yummy clusters pretty much the second I know they won’t burn all the tastebuds off my tongue! 😉

One of my favorite things about this peanut clusters in crock pot recipe (other than the fact that it’s exceedingly simple) is that while decadent and delicious, you do get some protein (and thus some energy) thanks to the peanuts. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to convince you that this peanut clusters in crock pot recipe is healthy but with so may desserts being pure sugar it is nice to get something with a little nutrition in it.

In addition to making a great snack for you and your family during the holidays, this peanut clusters in crock pot recipe makes a great gift. Once the peanut clusters harden up, simply wrap them in some cellophane and top it all off with a pretty bow or ribbon. While this peanut clusters in crock pot recipe may seem like a pretty small gift, I assure you the receiver will appreciate it. (Well, assuming he or she likes peanuts and chocolate….) After all, it is the homemade and heartfelt gifts that tend to be the most memorable.

So… ready to break out the crock pot and get cooking? Let’s do it!

    Dearest Kelli,
Thanks much for this recipe! My husband, dog and I are going to stay for the weekend at my parents’ estate this weekend for the first time in over four years after an estrangement. Nervous doesn’t begin to describe it. Ha! Trust me when I say that there is NOTHING that we can bring that isn’t already in their wine cellar, liquor cabinet or cheese drawer.
These plus the requisite flowers will be absolutely perfect. Much more personal (not to mention delicious and economical – HA) than a box of macaroons. And that’s exactly what we all need. I really appreciate your site.
    Most Sincerely,
    Mrs. Kimberly Anne Haynes Mills

Wondering about the amount of German chocolate. The ingredients say 2 oz. but in the picture all those little squares that are 1/4 oz equal 4 oz. Wanted to double check before making.
thank you and thanks for the simple recipe.
