This rare Triple Malt was created by Master Blender Jim Beveridge to evoke the aromas and sensations of this definitive era. It was inspired by the legendary Johnnie Walker "Swing", created in 1932 by the founder's grandson, Sir Alexander Walker. he was a blender of extraordinary skill who passed on his detailed notes to future generations. John Walker & Sons Odyssey is presented in an ultra-modern crystal decanter, housed in a clever and elegant box that allows it to swing freely back and forth without falling over. This, in homage to Johnnie Walker Swing's ingenious nautical decanter, designed to stay upright even when his boat swayed with the swaying waves.

John Walker & Sons Odyssey is made from just three extraordinary Single Malts, carefully blended and bonded in oak barrels to lend intricate layers of flavor and impart a luscious smoothness. This elegant whiskey has a distinctive deep reddish hue that hints at soft, juicy tannins. With the first sip, caramel and honey emerge followed by cooked berries, smoked nuts and delicate citrus notes. The finish is sublime - a flawless, rich smoky flavor that seems to linger forever.

Jim Beveridge delivered these aromas of toffee apple, peach, and rich berry fruits by working with European oak casks. The smoke is timid, with hints of background salinity. The finely structured mouthfeel is where this triple malt whisky truly shines: the polished smoothness is exceptional. The flavor journey begins with honey, citrus, and swirling melted chocolate, building to a fire of squeezed orange oils, dry fruits, and pecan nuttiness before concluding with rich espresso, dark caramels, and plain chocolate. Immaculate.
